Our Bargaining Team Recommends a YES Vote for Our Jobs, Our Patients & Our Futures!
We stood together. We picketed & rallied. We went on strike and made an historic sacrifice to protect our patients and our jobs. Now our National Bargaining Team has reached a tentative agreement for a new 4-year National Agreement with Kaiser Permanente that accomplishes our priorities and more!
RATIFICATION SUMMARY
✔ Renewed outsourcing and subcontracting protections for all classifications, including Revenue Cycle workers.
✔ The fair wage increases we deserve!
21% across-the-board raises for ALL regions:
6% in October 2023
5% in October 2024
5% in October 2025
5% in October 2026
...the largest raise package in the history of the Kaiser Labor/Management Partnership.
PLUS: $1,500 ratification bonus for all workers.
✔ Protected healthcare and pension benefits and improved retiree medical benefits.
✔ Protected our retirement benefits & added the following improvements:
Increased our HRA to $2500 for new retirees on or after January 1, 2024
Able to use Medical subsidy for any KPSA plan
✔ PSP payouts going forward:
If Kaiser fails to meet financial goals, members will be paid $300 per each labor goal met (up to $1,200 for four labor goals).
If Kaiser meets financial goals, members will be paid $700 per each labor goal met (total potential payout of $2,800).
If Kaiser strongly exceeds financial goals, members will be paid $950 per each labor goal met (total potential payout of $3,750).
✔ A full menu of initiatives to invest in the workforce and address the short-staffing crisis.
✔ Many other improvements to differential pay and other financial and language parts of our Local Union Contract.
New weekend differential
New replacement pool differential
New training differential
Increases to longevity differential
Increases to shift & lead differentials
