MANAGEMENT FALLS SHORT AT THE TABLE
Management continues to propose takeaways and say NO to our priorities including:
❌ Taking away evening and night shift differential from a large number of our members.
❌ Taking away double time for working more than 4 hours past your shift.
Management continues to say NO to our priorities:
❌ NO to controlling costs and plan design for health insurance. In fact, they are proposing that we get what everyone else gets without say or ability to fight back.
❌ NO to time and a half for working on a day off.
❌ NO to weekend differential.
❌ NO to removing longevity steps so members receive a step increase each year.
WHAT’S NEXT?
We need to stand united in order to win the contract we deserve! Here’s what you can do:
1). PURPLE UP and stop by our next bargaining session. Our next bargaining date is Friday, September 26th. Stop by during your break or lunch to show your support! Let’s show management what we think of their takeaways.
2). Sign our union petition — We are demanding PeaceHealth pay fair, livable wages; affordable healthcare; grow with our union; and respect and protect its caregivers. Stand with coworkers across PeaceHealth Systems as we call for a stronger, safer PeaceHealth where our patients can receive the care they need and our community can thrive!
