PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Bargaining Update #07

Management says NO to our priorities

We met with PeaceHealth’s executive and management team again on Thursday, September 18, to continue working towards a fair contract. They still say NO to members’ priorities. Here is what has been proposed:

Shift differential takeaway: Management proposes changing shift differentials which would leave some employees making over $1,000 less a year.

Your bargaining team has rejected their proposal and is pushing for increased differentials, so members make more money.

—————————————————————————————

Unaffordable healthcare: Management is trying to unilaterally implement a 5% increase in healthcare costs without bargaining.

Your bargaining team is pushing to reduce out-of-pocket costs for members.

—————————————————————————————

Low wages: Management has not moved on their proposed 2% yearly across-the-board wage increases.

Your team is pushing for substantial raises for everyone so that members can afford to live in the community and PeaceHealth can attract and retain good workers.

PeaceHealth has made it clear that they do not intend to meet member priorities. It will take members standing united for us to win a fair contract.

It’s time to TAKE ACTION—make sure you have:
