BARGAINING TEAM RECOMMENDS A YES VOTE! 

 

Your Peace Harbor Bargaining Team is excited to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with Peace Health. We are proud of every SEIU member who signed petitions, wore purple, and stood together as union members to win a strong contract. We could not have won without unity.  


We are proud to announce that we have won:  

  • 4% wage increases each year for all employees, and market adjustments for some groups to keep wages competitive. 


  • Increases to all of our differentials!

Evening Shift $1.50 / hr $2.50 / hr
Night Shift $2.50 / hr $3.75 / hr
Standby Pay $3.75 / hr $4.00 / hr
Relief Lead Pay $1.50 / hr $2.00 / hr
Preceptor / Training Pay $1.35 / hr $1.75 / hr
Weekend Work $1.00 / hr $1.25 / hr

After long discussions with the Employer, we accepted new language for how shift differentials are applied. Unfortunately, some folks may no longer qualify for their shift differentials; most people impacted will see more money from this new differential structure.   


  • Lump sum bonuses for Longevity Recognition! 

  • $250 for caregivers with 5-10 years of experience  

  • $500 for caregivers with 10-15 years of experience 

  • $750 for caregivers with 15-20 years of experience 

  • $1500 for caregivers with 20+ years or experience 

  • Improved language to ensure more flexibility for PTO requests

  • Protected the Education Fund and the Gym Membership Program
