MWMC & HHS: Bargaining Update 1
Our First Step Toward a Fair Contract
Bargaining is off to a slow start. Although we had 16 hours of bargaining scheduled with management last Wednesday and Thursday. Management had several unforeseen delays both days and we only saw them for 2 hours overall. We were very disappointed that not much progress was made.
However, your elected bargaining team was very productive and made great use of our time focusing on not only our top priorities identified on the bargaining survey, wages, healthcare and differentials but also on many of the issues that have been shared with Bargaining Team members and drafting proposals to address those issues. We are ready for our next meetings scheduled on October 7 & 8. We hope management will be, too.
COME TO A CAT/MEMBER MEETING ON THE FOLLOWING DATES:
Monday, October 5, 1pm – 4pm in the Molalla Room
Tuesday, October 6, 2:30pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm in the Rogue Room
