Columbia Memorial Hospital Management Delays Bargaining—Again

But we still put forth our initial proposals!

Although your bargaining team showed up in good faith and ready to negotiate, we were notified at the last minute that the employer’s lawyer would not be able to meet due to a personal issue and had not planned for coverage. Columbia Memorial Hospital is once again asking all of us and our families to wait yet another month and to extend our contract for a second time to May 31, 2024; with this new extension, they put in writing that they will honor retro pay to April 1, 2024. Unfortunately, they have cancelled our bargaining dates for the next month, and we will not meet with them again until April 22, 2024. Disappointing as this was, your bargaining team did not waste any time and on Friday, our 1st bargaining session, we put the following proposals across the table.
