Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital: Bargaining Update #1
In 2025, we bargained hard and won a great contract that included an agreement that if SPCH bargained more than a 4% across-the-board wage increase in 2026, workers at SNLH members could come back to the table and negotiate increases that match SPCH.
We proposed the same selective increases that SPCH workers won and an across-the-board of 1% for all SNLH SEIU L49 members, so all SNLH receive the same wage increases as all SPCH workers.
Management has proposed that only workers whose job classification is at both SNLH and SPCH receive any wage increase. This would mean that nearly half of members would not see any additional increase in their wages.
We proposed the wage increase be paid retroactively to April, when the SNLH 2026 wage increases went into effect.
Management proposed that raises be effective after the signing of the agreement, more than 6 months after the 2026 across-the-board increases.
