PeaceHealth United - Joint Update 02

PeaceHealth Doesn’t Deliver…Again
Sign the Strike Pledge Today

Caregivers across PeaceHealth—from Sacred Heart to St. John—are standing together for one standard of care. We’re united for fair pay, affordable healthcare, and strong job protections, because when every PeaceHealth worker is respected and supported, we can provide the best possible care for every patient and every community.

At Sacred Heart on November 25, PeaceHealth executives continued to offer low wages and unaffordable healthcare. Rather than meet the needs of caregivers and our communities PeaceHealth executives have dug in on their lousy contract offers. In fact, they made no movement in their economic proposals in bargaining on Tuesday.

Low Wages, Unaffordable Healthcare, and Takeaways??

PeaceHealth is still offering across-the-board increases of just 3%, 2.5% and 2.75%, with no minimum pay rate, nothing to increase ghost steps, zero limits or reductions in costs for healthcare, and shift pay takeaways.

Your bargaining team agreed to enter into mediation with management to try to resolve the contract. It is clear that to get a strong contract, we will all have to stand united and show that we are ready to strike if we have to. Hundreds of your coworkers have already pledged to strike if needed, and your participation is essential!
