St. John Techs Stand United at the Bargaining Table

Your SEIU 49 bargaining team met with management again on Friday to continue negotiating our next Tech contract.


We proposed:

  • πŸ’œ Raises that mean PeaceHealth workers in Longview do not make less than other healthcare workers.

  • πŸ’œ Recognition for our members at the top of the scale who bring years of experience to their jobs

  • πŸ’œ Improvements to shift differentials including a new weekend differential.


Management proposed:

  • ❌ Raises that leave PeaceHealth workers in Longview making less than other PeaceHealth employees doing the same work

  • ❌ No new step to recognize our members with the most experience.

  • ❌ Changes to shift differential language that would result in some of our members losing money every shift!
