PeaceHealth St. John Service Bargaining Update #04

It’s time for a fair contract now!

We met with management on Wednesday. We have been bargaining for months, and management has not made movement to get a contract that meets the needs of our members so we can keep providing quality care to our patients. We let management know that our members will vote to accept their offer or keep fighting and prepare for further action to win a strong contract.

MANAGEMENT IS STILL PROPOSING:

  • Raises of 3.5%, 3.5%, 3%, and 3.25% which doesn’t catch up to cost of living increases

  • Changes to shift differentials which would take away over $2,000 a year for some members.

  • No weekend shift differential

  • No to limiting out of pocket increases with health insurance

  • No to a voice in health insurance plan design

Get ready to vote on our next steps! November 4 & 5, Location TBD—stay tuned for more info.
