Here are the highlights:
3-year contract
Across-the-board increases of 4%, 4%, 4% with some selectives
NEW CNA Float pool differential $1.00 per hour
Preceptor pay increase to $1.75 per hour
Night Shift Differential increase to $3.75 per hour
Maintain Ed Fund
Maintain COVID Letter of Understanding (LOU)
Language to protect spousal benefits
Employees in probation or in first 90 days in new classification or transfer do not float
We protected double time pay language for those working past the end of their shift
We defended Seniority rights
We solidified that when out on Washington Paid Family Medical Leave (WPFML) employees may choose to supplement with PTO to make pay whole. Employees do not have to use PTO during WPFML leave.
Wage Scale Steps 8 and 19 will reflect a step increase midway between the step before and after.
Change to the Shift Differential structure to day, evening, and night shift. Members will receive shift differential when the majority of hours worked are in evening/night shift. Members who are impacted negatively by this will receive a lump sum payment after ratification and another next year.
Lump Sum Payments will happen twice, once at ratification and another a year after ratification:
Up to $1,000 will receive $750
$1,001.00 to $1,400 will receive $1,000
$1,401 to $1,800 will receive $1,250
$1,801.00 to $2,200 will receive $1,450
$2,201 and over will receive $1,650
