PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Bargaining Update #08

Members from across PeaceHealth are taking action to demonstrate that caregivers are united and ready to win the fair contract our communities deserve. Members delivered petitions to management showing that an overwhelming majority of PeaceHealth workers are committed to standing strong. SEIU members at PeaceHealth always put our patients and families first—now it’s time for executives in Vancouver to do the same.


We’re standing together for:

💜 Fair Wages – no more poverty pay, respect for longevity, and wages that attract and keep quality caregivers.

💜 Affordable Healthcare – real access to care with caps on out-of-pocket costs.

💜 Growing Together – strong union protections as PeaceHealth expands, with all new facilities covered.

💜 Respect for Diversity – a workplace where every caregiver and every community member is welcome and protected.

We reached an agreement about the new Rehab. Hospital which protects wages, differentials, seniority, healthcare and PTO for anyone who transfers to the new hospital and ensured it will open union!

Management is continuing to say NO to other key priorities including sticking to their proposal of 2% yearly across the board raises and increases to health insurance costs.
