Growing Together or Growing Apart?

Your bargaining team met with PeaceHealth. Here’s the truth: management is dragging their feet and refusing to deal with members’ priorities.


WHAT MANAGEMENT IS DOING:

❌ Ignoring our proposals for stronger protections as PeaceHealth grows.

❌ Refusing to even talk about our plan for ONE strong contract covering all hospitals.

❌ Trying to split workers into 3 separate contracts that would weaken everyone.

❌ Setting an arbitrary 7-day deadline to force us into their bad deal.

This is disrespectful. A fair contract means bargaining over ALL member priorities—not just what management chooses.


WHAT YOUR UNION IS FIGHTING FOR:

💜 3 hospitals – ONE contract. As new hospitals open, they should open under our contract with equal pay, benefits, and protections.

💜 Stronger protections and longer timelines for layoffs and restructures.

💜 A fair and fast path for workers at new hospitals to join the union.


WHERE WE MADE PROGRESS

💜 Marriage rights protected: PeaceHealth agreed to keep honoring marriage rights even if laws change.

💜 Education Fund secured: Continued support for tuition and training.


WE’RE STILL WAITING…

Wages and healthcare. Management hasn’t responded to our proposals for lower out-of-pocket costs, a $23 minimum starting wage, and real raises. They promised a response next session.

Management is stalling. It will take ALL OF US UNITED to win the contract we deserve.
