OUR PROPOSALS
Non Economics
✔️ Improvements to New Employee Orientations to ensure every new employee is welcomed into our union.
✔️ Reducing the probationary period from 120 days to 90 days.
✔️ Stronger language related to mutual respect and anti-discrimination.
✔️ Adjustments to scheduling rules to ensure adequate time for PTO requests.
✔️ Stronger guidelines related to floating.
✔️ Expanding days for paid bereavement leave and what relationships qualify.
✔️ Language for SEIU members on Worker’s Compensation to be placed on a recall list.
✔️ Expanding the timeframe for grievances to ensure members have sufficient time to file a grievance if Peace Harbor isn’t following our contract.
Economics
✔️ Across-the-board wage increases of:
9% in July 2026
8% in July 2027
7% in July 2028 Increases to all of our differentials.
✔️ Increases to all of our differentials.
✔️ A new longevity differential of $2.00/hour for all employees with 10+ years with Peace Health.
✔️ Longevity bonuses of $1,000 for employees with 20 years at Peace Health, and $1,500 for employees with 25 years at Peace Health.
✔️ A $2.00/hour differential for employees who are working while short staffed.
✔️ 2x pay for on-call workers who are called to work on a Holiday.
✔️ 1.5x pay for picking up additional shifts.
We proposed language that will allow more employees to utilize the Bridge Program/Financial Assistance Program through PeaceHealth to cover health care costs.
