Kaiser Shortchanged NW Members on PSP — We’re Fighting to Make It Right

Kaiser made a serious error in calculating your 2025 PSP attendance data. The company improperly counted legally protected leave — time you have a right to take — against the attendance goal. As a result, Northwest Coalition members were wrongly deemed to have missed the goal, and PSP payouts were reduced.

Your union caught the error and has been working to fix it. After efforts at the national level failed to resolve the dispute, a formal dispute letter was filed on behalf of Northwest members.

We are demanding Kaiser:

  • Pay all Northwest Coalition members an additional $300 under the 2025 PSP plan

  • Audit all remaining regions and correct any miscalculation errors to ensure protected time off is never counted against you

  • Retrain Coalition members, managers, and staff responsible for tracking and calculating attendance

  • Conduct quarterly audits of PSP attendance data going forward to ensure ongoing accuracy

This is your money. Kaiser made the mistake —
and we intend to make sure it’s corrected.
