PAY DISCREPANCY UPDATE
In late July, you ratified your contract and won across-the-board wage increases, new differentials, staffing incentives, and more. Shortly after ratification, your bargaining team was made aware of many wage discrepancies. We have been working diligently with the employer to resolve these issues. We are excited to announce that if you were impacted, you will see a pay correction on your January 16 paycheck.
DUES BEGIN AFTER JANUARY 16
Due to the pay discrepancies, we put a hold on dues for all employees until the issue was fixed. Dues will initiate after the January 16 paycheck. Your dues rate is 1.7% of your gross wages (excluding overtime) and will be deducted each pay period.

OUR CONTRACT
SEIU Local 49 has been working to ensure that the contract is finalized and all agreements reached in bargaining are reflected appropriately in the contract. We expect this will be finalized soon, and we are working on printing hardcopies for you. In the meantime, you can find a downloadable copy on our website.

Stewards form the backbone of SEIU Local 49. They help enforce the contract and protect our rights. A good steward is someone who believes in the union and is fair, objective, respected, and uses confidentiality in representing you.
