Samaritan Health Systems: Bargaining Update 3
BARGAINING HAS BEGUN! SIGN THE PRIORITIES PETITION!
GSRMC Tech and Albany bargaining teams continued bargaining last week, bringing member priorities to the table and working toward strong contracts that support healthcare workers and the quality patient care our communities depend on.
We made proposals to improve PTO, to strengthen our right to bargain over changes to our health insurance, and to expand the definition of family when it comes to bereavement leave.
In Albany, we passed our initial wage proposal and anticipate receiving SHS’s wage proposal during our next session.
For GSRMC Techs, we expect to pass our initial wage proposal early in our next session next week.
