This Isn’t Just About 2025 PSP—It’s About 2027 and Beyond!

WE EARNED IT! Respect the work, remove the barriers, and pay the PSP

As SEIU members at Kaiser we show up every day and do the work to care for our patients. In 2025, despite incredible obstacles—like an anti-vaccine campaign from federal leaders and lack of data and information from Kaiser management—we continued to work around the barriers and strive to reach our PSP goals.

Our region was very close to many of the goals and a true partnership on the following would have made it possible in achieving them:

  • Goal Data—Not having direct-line data or timely data provided by Kaiser, especially in the 1st quarter of 2025.

  • Attendance—No response to our concerns raised about incorrect coding of time away from work.

  • Flu—Management refused to discuss calibrating the goal even though concerns were raised on shortened scheduling of Flu clinics, poor advertisement to patients on availability options and a federal anti-vaccine campaign

For these reasons, a couple weeks ago, we delivered thousands of signatures from SEIU and Coalition members to Kaiser management saying we deserve at least a $1,500 PSP for 2025. We received no response from management.

We have to stay ready for 2027 National Bargaining.
It’s critical that all our stewards and co-leads join any upcoming steward meetings and bring our action steps back to your teams.
