SEIU 49 City of Portland Janitors Testify to reinstate Fair Wage Policy… and WON!

VICTORY FOR PORTLAND WORKERS!

This morning the Portland City Council voted unanimously to reinstate the City's Fair Wage Policy! This is a huge win for the janitors and security officers who work hard to ensure City building and spaces are secure and safe for everyone and for all workers!

SEIU 49 City of Portland Janitors provided testimony in support of this policy which will ensure fair wages for these workers to live and thrive in our City.

Thank you to Chief Sponsors Councilor Dunphy, Councilor Green, Councilor Novick and to the ENTIRE council for voting to reinstate the important policy for workers in our City!
