SEIU 49 Member Training Camp 2026
Join SEIU 49 leaders from across our regions, industries, and job classifications for a full day of training and celebration! Together we’ll ground ourselves in our 2026 goals, build our mobilization muscles, and welcome newly organized workers from Security, Providence, and Samaritan.
The day includes a morning plenary, keynote speaker, and afternoon workshops on union skills and direct action — capped off with a celebration featuring music, food, elected leaders, and allies. Leave inspired and ready to fight for working families!

Parking is free. Pick up your parking voucher when you sign in.

Yes. The Red, Green, and Blue lines all stop right out front at the Convention Center station. Walk about one block to the hotel entrance.

Yes, if you drive in from more than 25 miles away from the Hyatt. You’ll receive a reimbursement form at sign-in.

Food, parking, and non-alcoholic drinks are covered.
Alcoholic drinks at social hour can be purchased at the bar. We have a “no dues for booze” policy.

While your kids are welcome to attend with you, there is no childcare at this event. If you bring children, plan to care for them while you are here.

Yes. Translation will be provided.
Register as soon as you can and tell us which language you need. We line up interpreters based on who has registered, so late sign-ups may not be covered.

No. Paid union leave is not available for this event.
We encourage you to change your schedule or request the day off so you can attend. Start that conversation with your supervisor early. If you run into trouble, call your union rep.
