Members fight for fair union elections at Providence

On March 15, over two dozen Local 49 members, Providence workers, and community supporters stood outside a formal “Gala” held by Providence to celebrate their new patient tower, described by the Oregonian as being like a luxury hotel. Workers, members, and supporters held signs demanding “Fairness for Providence workers,” and handed out flyers calling on Providence to agree to meaningful dialogue with their workers.
