Dental Hygienist Training: Application deadline April 22, 2009
Kaiser Permanente, SEIU UHW-West & Joint Employer Education Fund
and the Ben Hudnall Memorial Trust offer represented employees an
opportunity to enter a Dental Hygienist Training program. This is a
2-year Associates Degree program customized for Kaiser Permanente
employees. The program is a highly competitive opportunity for 10 employees. It will begin in September of 2009. All all tuition, books, and associated lab fees will be paid for by the Ben Hudnall Memorial Trust Fund or SEIU UHW-West & Joint Employer Education Fund.

Eligibility RequirementsApplicants must,
1. Work at a Kaiser Permanente facility
2. Be represented by one of the Coalition of Unions, SEIU, OFNHP, ONA, UFCW, or ILWU
3. Be a regular full-time or part-time benefit eligible employee
4. Have completed 1 year of service
5. Meet admitting criteria of Portland Community College Dental Hygienist Program, including criminal background check
6. Completed all prerequisites
